There is no close second. I've been using Plex for years now. It gets better with each revision. I will never use another media player.

7年落ちのノートパソコンにubuntuを入れたPlexメディアサーバから視聴しています。 外出先でも充分な画質でトランスコード配信され、コマ落ちやフリーズしない視聴環境を作ることが出来ました。

Air Playitを使っていましたが最近動作が不安定でなかなか読み込みが終わらなかったりと不調だったのでこちらに移行しました。有料ですがお金を出しても納得がいく出来です。iOSの他にもAndroidも使えるので複数で使う場合は大変便利です。ただもう少しアプリが安くなってくれれば尚良いです。

I love the PLEX solution. Streaming to iPhone and iPad is flawless and starts immediately. I run the server on a MacMini 24/7 and it is easy to install and setup, creating your favorite categories of films and connected with many streaming channel services. Each user on the MacMini can have their own movie library, but the user has to be logged in so you cannot stream from two users at same time.

I have a Mac Mini that pretty much runs PLEX 24/7. I have been using this all day and love it. I can stream to my iPhone and iPad.
